Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

On Saturday, the seventh grade football team traveled to Logansport and won by a score of 28-0. Lucas Schmitt led the offensive charge with a rushing touchdown and receiving touchdown from Khaleb Bandawal. Jack Higgins added a touchdown reception as well. Luke Nichols led a solid rushing performance, which included a touchdown run. The defense was led by Kolton Thompson and Wesley Trost, who both had strong performances. The seventh grade will be back in action next Tuesday when they host rival Tipton. On Saturday, the eighth grade football team traveled to Logansport and lost by a score of 20-6. It was a hard fought game with only 14 players available. Jack Butor had a strong rushing performance with several yards and a touchdown. Drew Champion filled in well at quarterback, completing some key passes to Otto Moyer and Jack Butor. The defense was led by Carter Kiger, Andyn Emery, and Otto Moyer. The eighth grade will be back in action next Tuesday when they host rival Tipton.
