Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

Wednesday evening the Cross Country teams opened their season at home vs. Lapel and Tipton. The boys started the evening off with the competition being tight. Mitch Moorehouse was the top Heights finisher with a time of 11:34 for 3rd place. Other finishers in the top 10 were: Brooks Young-7th and Sammy Heuer-8th. The boys team placed 2nd behind Lapel. The ladies came out ready to compete as well! Ingrid Girolamo took 1st place with a time of 13:28 and Lexi Placencia in 2nd. Congratulations to the following for placing in the top 10: Keegan Moe-4th, Quinn Pierce-5th, Adah Heuer-6th, Amelia McDonald-7th and Mallory Snider 8th. The ladies team placed 1st. A big congratulations to all runners for coming ready to compete and get the season started. The runners are back in action on Saturday as they travel to Marion for the Wildcat Classic Invite.
