Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

The Hamilton Heights 7th grade volleyball team fought hard on the road tonight, but ultimately dropped a tough battle to Lapel 0-2. Faith Hammack and Michaela Suarez held down the net with 3 kills each to keep our offense moving, while Natalia Monroy added 3 assists to keep us in the fight. The 7th grade Huskies return home this Thursday to host Creekside at 5:30 PM, come out and support the team! It was a tough game against Lapel for the 8th grade volleyball team. They gave all the effort they had, in the 3 set game. The first set they lost, but played a strong 2nd set. Hattie Moyer played a great game with 14 serves and 4 aces. Gabby Blanton had 9 kills. Avianna Castillo was also very aggressive on her digs. She dug up very needed balls that helped at key times. Their season record is now 6-2 and their next game is on Thursday against Creekside at home. Go Huskies!
