6th Grade Girls Basketball vs. Sheridan

The 6th grade Lady Huskies played their first home game last night against Sheridan. The A team came out ready to compete, working together and playing strong defense to hold Sheridan to just 9 points. The Huskies earned the win with a final score of 34–9. Kinsley Bowyer led the Huskies with 11 points, followed by Michaela Suarez with 8, Ella Wilson with 7, Ayva Cherry with 4, and Sydney Hodge and Chiamaka Ebigbo each adding 2 points. The B team was fired up and ready for their matchup as well. In a two-quarter game, the Huskies battled hard but came up short, 10–8. Sydney Hodge, Chiamaka Ebigbo, Amelia Andis, and Payton Sisson each scored 2 points. Come out and support the girls at their next home game on Tuesday, January 27th, as we take on Fall Creek. Game time is 5:30 PM!
