The 7th grade Huskies earned a convincing 46–19 victory over Eastern with a strong all-around performance highlighted by sharp shooting and stifling defense. The Huskies got off to a fast start in the first quarter, breaking down Eastern’s zone with crisp ball movement and prolific shooting to jump out to a 16–9 lead. That offensive rhythm carried into the second quarter, as the Huskies entered halftime holding an 11-point advantage. The game became more physical in the third quarter, which was marked by several fouls, but the Huskies stayed composed and continued to extend their lead. Their best defensive stretch came in the fourth quarter, where they completely shut down Eastern and held them scoreless to lock up the win. Offensively, the Huskies were led by Graysen Cherry, who scored 14 points and delivered several great passes against the zone. Khaleb Bandawal also had a strong night, pouring in 13 points to help fuel the victory.
