Tuesday evening, the 7th grade Huskies faced Fishers in both A and B games. A Team: The Huskies fell in a hard-fought battle, 46–34. Heights struggled to find the basket early, trailing 18–6 after the first quarter. Despite several runs throughout the game, they couldn’t overcome the early deficit. It was a balanced offensive effort led by Khaleb Bandawal, Colton Fite, Benji Girolamo, and Graysen Cherry. The team now turns its focus to Tipton on Thursday night in the opening round of the MIC Tournament. B Team: The Huskies dropped their matchup 41–22. After a strong start, Fishers’ depth began to show in the second quarter. Braxton Hilton paced the Huskies with a solid offensive performance. The B team is back in action Monday at Carmel Clay.
