Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

The 6th Grade boys basketball team split with Lapel in 2 hard fought games. In the A game, Hamilton Heights got off to a slow start but rebounded nicely in the 2nd half to tie the game up before ultimately falling by a score of 41-37. Mitch Morehouse led the Huskies in scoring with 14 points. Austin Tebbe chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds, while Jackson Fidler had a game high 8 rebounds. Colby Day also finished with a game high 5 assists. The B game was tight throughout before Heights pulled away in the final frame winning by a score of 27-21. Chase Grisell took over in the 4th quarter scoring all 9 of his team high points in the final quarter. Liam Engle also had 9 points. Abe Woodruff was a monster on the boards with 9 for the game. Levi Hay did a little bit of everything for the Huskies finishing with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist and 1 block.
